Romanov worked in famous rock groups, he was submitted to the largest scenes of Russia. Childhood and youth hometown of Igor Romanov - Leningrad. It was there, in the city of white nights on October 2, the future guitarist was born. An ordinary Soviet family, secondary school, friends comrade, in general, everything is like everyone else. With only one difference, the boy from an early age really liked music.

Igor’s parents were observant, seeing that his son was showing an extraordinary interest in music, took him to a music school, where he immediately began to study the violin play, and then on the button accordion. In the ninth grade, the teenager learned to play the guitar, he liked the music of popular foreign groups. Romanov was accepted into the school ensemble, and it was then that he first ended up on stage.

The experience of performances in public was useful to the guy in the future. After receiving the school certificate, Igor realized that he wanted to make music professionally, and became a student at the pop department of the Music School. In the year, Romanov was given a diploma indicating the presence of a specialized education, and since then the creative biography of the future famous guitarist has started.

Music literally immediately after the release of Romanov from the music school began to build his creative career. He managed to work in many Leningrad groups. At first, he became a member of an art group called “Russians”, the repertoire of which consisted of song and instrumental compositions. By that time, Igor himself began to write music and songs, invited his colleagues to perform his works.

The musicians played quite professionally, but they saw exclusively underground. In m, the group came up with a new name - “Earthlings”, and it was in this team that Romanov received the first popularity and love of spectators. Cooperation with this team lasted for seven years. Romanova has already been considered an outstanding composer and arranger. In order to promote the group, Igor found a job in the Kemerovo Regional Philharmonic, and thanks to this he went on a professional scene.

Since at that time the music of members of the Union of Composers of the USSR was exclusively broadcast on television, the musicians of “earthlings” included the songs of already famous composers in their repertoire, but in their processing. Igor liked what was happening less and less, he understood that reality was leaving every year farther from his dreams, therefore, despite the growing demand and popularity, he was decided to leave the team. Igor Romanov in his youth at concerts throughout the year Romanov tried to “put together” his team. In his youth, he wanted to gather in one group of musicians with the same ideas about music and its purpose. By the time of the creation of his own team, Romanov had some material, but during the recording a lot had to be changed. So a musical group called "Soyuz" appeared.

During the first records, Romanov himself acted as a vocalist, but a little later he invited Valery Gorshenichev to the team, his old comrade and colleague. Viktor Drobysh was responsible for the keyboards, the bassist of the group was Alexander Krivtsov, and Valery Brusilovsky was in charge of with percussion instruments. His place was taken by Konstantin Ivanov. Together with the new composition, Romanov recorded two giant disks. After some time, Romanov received an offer from the vocalist of the Earthlings group Sergey Skachkov about the revival of the former composition of the group and unification into one team.

Romanov first caught fire with this idea, he even organized joint performances, and began to prepare a concert program. At this time, the Soyuz group is left by two musicians, and go to Sachkov. Romanov no longer wanted to recruit new members of the team, and decided that it was time to engage in a solo career. He began to create instrumental guitar music. Soon after, he assembled a new team - a trio called Romanoff.

During the existence of this project, five albums were released. This group did not become a commercial project, and no one was going to make a big profit from her activities. For Igor himself, this work has become an activity for the soul. There is a joint work with Irina Gaidar in the creative biography of the guitarist, with which he released a record called “White Bird”.

They recorded one album and a couple of clips, and the cooperation ceased to this. Igor actively participated in the creative activity of his new group. In the year, the musicians of the collective released the album, called the "outcast". Two years later, fans were pleased with the new work - the disc "to become the north." Until the GO they came out six more albums.

Romanov was very busy in a new project, and nevertheless, I found time to record solo records. In m, he released the album "Dreams", in the year - "Paranoi". In March, on the official page of Alice, a message appeared that the guitarist Romanov was leaving the group, and he would be replaced by a new, young musician who had previously collaborated with David Brown and Ashley Slayer.
