Pavel Troleb: In the spring, the guests of our park could see a full -fledged park complex - all species of plants, this unique park landscape architecture.

We really see that the park has completely played, and today it is an almost final concept of the material environment that has been created. At the same time, the park itself is a living organism, and in no case it can finalize and have no subsequent development. On the contrary, we are developing cultural programs, we have a very active educational function, and therefore every day our visitors can find new bright motives for subsequent stay at our facility.

The opening of the concert hall will be a final chord dedicated to the City Day? Pavel Trolet: Absolutely true. In May of this year, there was the opening of the “Ice Cave”, this is the most important thematic center in our park. Guests are happy to now visit the corner of the “Russian Arctic”, enjoy artistic installations of Alexander Ponomarev and Alexei Kozyr. This is a unique educational center.

From the point of view of the concert hall, this is the initial idea and architects of the project, and we are looking forward to September this year, when there will be a solemn opening of this hall. What is the role of Valery Gergiev in the work of this concert hall? Pavel Trekholeb: He is the chairman of the Cultural Council, who oversees the project for the implementation of this hall.

As far as I know, he was directly involved in the creation of a unique acoustic concept, Japanese acoustics were involved, which made it possible to achieve unique indicators of this hall, which would be part of the best music complexes in Europe. Pavel Troholeb: some technological issues arose, when a really large flow of people, the park did not imply any fences, it was initially an American idea, the authors of the concept insisted that there were no fences and barriers inside the park and there were no boundaries between natural zones and urbanized territories.

On a day we were sometimes visited by more than thousands of people - for a territory of ten hectares this is a serious load. We had to quickly put temporary fences in the form of wooden columns with stretched twine in order to somehow regulate the flows, and report more clear information to visitors where we welcome their travels, and where we ask to refrain from walking around the landscape zone.

This was especially true for the northern landscape, because there were the most fragile plants and any effect on them led to their death. This is not to say that it was some kind of mass process, but there were cases, and we tried to quickly stop them in the coming weeks. Are there any columns now? I did not particularly see them. Pavel Trolet: we have already removed three quarters of all the fences, they are preserved on the northern landscape, in the area of ​​ponds, several more landscape zones.

We are now observing and noticed that new paths appeared in some landscape zones. We will look, then monitor and, in the situation, already get out of this position. Muscovites are still arguing what Zaryadye is: is it a green zone in the city center or is it not a park at all, but just a kind of cultural and scientific-social zone in which the park is just a component? What is Zaryadye primarily?

Pavel Treholeb: when the Zaryadye Park was created, the principles were based on ideology to create a space that would satisfy the widest audience and work year -round. And we tried to create such a compromise, harmonious option that would fit into the historical context of the city, because it is a very significant place, and at the same time performed an important social function.Indeed, this would be a place of recreation, would open up new species and at the same time offer our visitors an active cultural program.

It is completely uncharacteristic for the space that we usually call a park. Pavel Troholeb: when the architectural concept proposed by the international consortium in the year was originally finalized, we just specially added many additional cultural elements. High -tech multimedia complexes arose, which allowed us to demonstrate the beauty of Moscow, in the future - the beauty of Russia in a format that was previously not represented in Russia.

Including thanks to this we have now received international awards. In Amsterdam, experts from all over the world admitted that this is really a breakthrough of the year. We have implemented a very interesting concept of the scientific center: full-fledged biotechnological laboratories, where professionals and biotechnologists conduct master classes, primarily for a children's audience.

Children can feel in the role of experimenters, conduct various genetic sequences, develop genetic passports, grow in vitro plants, that is, the whole complex of scientific manipulations that allows children to feel not just participants in some decorative processes, but full-fledged partners of scientific experiments. The Zaryadye Park is preparing a special program for the Day of its birth - September 9th.

It will be a bright concert program. We will launch the film "Flight over Russia." This is a new content and the already famous, loved one of the Muscovites complex "Flight".

There will be a vivid event of these days - the opening of an exhibition project, a joint partner project with the Tretyakov Gallery: 60 masterpieces from the Tretyakov Gallery collection will be exhibited in the Zaryadye Park, including paintings from the Pavel Tretyakov collection. Does the commercial component of his work satisfy you as the director of the park? After all, it is not for me to tell you that, as soon as the plans for organizing Zaryadye appeared, there was immediately conversations: money, or something, there is nothing more to spend on?

Pavel Troholeb: To answer this question, we must first turn to international practice. All the largest megacities, the capitals try to construct their own face, and the presence of such cultural, social orientation projects is very important, because it determines the identity of the city, this determines its face, this determines how the authorities relate to its citizens and tourists visiting this city.

The emergence of the Zaryadye park brought a huge number of very positive effects. We received unequivocal positive responses from the expert environment, a huge number of tourists, and this was clearly during the football championship - more than 1.7 million people passed through us. They are simply surprised that in the center of Moscow, a historical metropolis, such an innovative project was created, very bright, very juicy, energetically very capacious.

As far as I know, initially the American model did not at all imply any commercial inclusions in the park, there should have just been a green zone in the city center. Pavel Troholeb: in the original American concept there was mainly a landscape complex, there were some exhibition halls, a separate underground parking and a Philharmonic. Having created a scientific cluster, creating a multimedia cluster, we expanded and strengthened the economic base of the park, so now the park feels more comfortable, harmonious and can block a significant part of its operational costs due to income from these types of service.

Another claim to Zaryadyu is too regular: it has very few places where you can throw a blanket and lie on the lawn. Pavel Trelab: Yes, and no. We designed and actively operate a large meadow. These are almost two hectares of the territory on which guests can be freely located, arrange mini-picnics, enjoy nature, and this is happening. On a good day, hundreds of people enjoy these species.

A specially large amphitheater has been created, seats where you can be calmly at a round day. All other zones are really mainly an active relief, these are special plantings with very fragile plants. I believe that the concept of a balanced environment is implemented in the park. As architects say, city -planners, in the “Zaryadye” everything is separately very good, but there is no holistic picture.

Pavel Trolet: I would not say that. The Zaryadye Park is a living organism that each time reveals itself from a new side to its visitors. The program of the park and landscape, engineering, cultural solutions, all our software elements work on general symbiosis and general synergy. In general, the territory of the park is a very good site for adventure, research. You could probably notice that from the very beginning we generally tried to minimize some navigation signs, because the authors of the project were conceptually and proposed to create a natural oasis in the city center, a historical metropolis, in which people should get lost, gain themselves and at the same time through this transformation to feel some completely different taste of life.

The Zaryadye Park gives freedom of choice, and in no case is not some kind of conveyor that puts you in a narrow framework, and you must follow only them. Each time, coming to the park, you open something new. This is not frozen perfection - this is perfection in movement, which is very important.
