Rammstein biography

Kruspe and Til Lindemann Til Lindemann took first place at the city festival held in Berlin. After this event, the new rock band, which other musicians joined, received the right to record in the Berlin Professional Studio. By that time, Kristian Lorenz Christian Lorenz and guitarist Paul Landers Paul Landers were already known in Eastern Germany, since even before the country's unification, they spoke on the territory of the GDR as part of other musical groups.

The beginning of the creative path of the “Rammstein” group, consisting of young rock musicians, contradicted the imposed by the Eastern Germans for decades to the Soviet lifestyle, and its members explain its name quite simply. So, the name "Rammstein" is associated with a peculiar "ram", which could be broken by the established traditional foundations of society.

The start of the Rammstein career is already a year, when the rock musicians managed to conclude the first contract in their own history with the company Motor Music, and then successes followed: with the help of Jacob Helner producer, the first album was recorded in Sweden, which significantly expanded the number of fans. Already in August, the single “Du Riechst So Gut” was released, which became a kind of sign for the popular rock band in Germany, and by September the CD “Herzeleid” was released.

After a short time, Rammstein took part in the writing of the soundtrack for the movie “Highway to nowhere”, shot by D. D. himself in many ways resembled the music of the group - it was radical and at the same time scandalous, simply evil and shocking, like a nightmare. As soon as the Herzeleid SV was released, the Rammstein group began to be invited to various performances of rock musicians, and its tour was performed not only through European states.

The circulation of the album was impressive - more discs were released, and songs from it were considered hits throughout Germany for a long time. The new album "Sehnsucht" was called "Platinov" even before the moment when the discs with the records went on sale, and the songs from it were leading for a long time in all national charts. The following were the grandiose tours of the Rammstein rock bands in the USA and Europe, as well as iconic prizes in all kinds of nominations, including the best live performance, the best video, and the best national rock band.

But there were not only awards and fans, the German group was repeatedly accused of advertising fascism for the chanting of some moments from the history of Germany and the use of some Nazi symbols in the clips. But the participants of Rammstein explain such “provocations” simply, feeling like real Germans and representing the history of their people, whatever it was. It should be noted that the image of the rock band “Rammstein”, the content of songs and memorable music is quite contradictory, and the path to success was more difficult than promoting sites in modern conditions.

During noisy concerts, the musicians, according to their statements, turn into people from sweat, steel and flame. The texts are almost always contradictory, therefore, the audience in the imagination can come up with the images of a wild predatory beast, and ancient soldiers, and the Vikings. Even in the names of many albums of the rock band, the theme of jealousy, longing, mania and thirst for death.

But many clips of the RAMMSTEIN rock band were strictly censored, the clip for the Links song was no exception. Therefore, this clip is known in several variations where the halo or a snow -white drug appears, and the frames can be viewed almost in a mirror display.
