Selevko G. After that, G. Selevko comes to the teaching work, working simultaneously at the school and at the Yaroslavl Pedagogical Institute. Here he goes from the teacher to the dean of the faculty. In the year he was awarded the academic title of associate professor. In the year, he was invited to create a department of pedagogy at the Yaroslavl Regional Institute for Advanced Studies.

Working as the head of the department, Associate Professor G. Selevko brought a lot to the activities of this institution. For 10 years, shots were grown at the department headed by him to open new departments. In the successful scientific and pedagogical activity, he was awarded the academic rank of professor. Being a supporter of progressive pedagogical innovations, he is the initiator of the creation of social pedagogy in the Faculty of Social Pedagogy in the Yaroslavl IPC.
