Confucius Biography Report

Kun Fu-Tzu, or Confucius, the Europeanized name, is the greatest Chinese philosopher, scientist and teacher. The origin and education of Confucius is for the most part unknown, but some information has nevertheless survived to this day. The authors of the memoirs are students of the great master of the word. The philosopher, who has already received recognition at the age of 20, created a whole teaching-Confucianism, which had a huge impact on the history of the formation of the states of Southeast Asia.

He systematized the annals of various Chinese principalities, founded the first university in China, wrote special rules of conduct for all China classes. Confucius came from an ancient Chinese aristocratic family, by the time the philosopher was born year BC. His father died when the boy was 3 years old, and his mother, being just a concubine, was forced to leave the family and live with her son on her own.

That is why Confucius began to work very early, engaged in parallel to self -education and mastering the art of art laid down to every official and aristocrat. The educated young man was soon noticed, and he began his career at the court in the kingdom of Lou. Pedagogical work was very difficult for China, and when Confucius realized that he could not affect the political situation in his kingdom, the philosopher went to wander with students in China.

His goal was to convey to the rulers of individual kingdoms the idea that the power of the state in unity. He spent most of his life traveling, and at the age of 60 he returned home. Continuing to teach, he systematized the literary heritage of his country, creating a “Book of Changes” and “Book of Songs”. The teachings and students of the doctrine of Confucius was quite simple, and although now Confucianism was equated with religion, it is not religion.

It is based on the concept of morality, humanism, kindness, virtues and the creation of a harmonious society, in which each person takes the place in his place. Confucius discussed a lot about the formation of man, about such a phenomenon as culture, civilization. He believed that a person could develop in himself what nature has laid in him. Civilization cannot be raised, culture cannot be trained.

This is either in a person or not. The first brief biography of Confucius was written by his students and his son Confucius married early, at the age of 19, Bo Yu. They compiled a annalistic biography and created a book, which was based on Confucius conversations with their students - “Lun Yu” “Conversations and Judges”. It was in this year that he was declared an object of state veneration. A little later, a place was fixed behind him in an aristocratic pantheon, then it was endowed with the title of the bath, and in the XVI century - the title of "the greatest sage of the past." The first temple in his honor was erected in the same 16th century. They were especially interested in European philosophers as Leibniz and Hegel.

Hegel, by the way, said that it is very difficult for a European person to accept the teachings of Confucius, since the humility and subordination of the koleptic beginning does not correspond to the European mentality. The prefix "ZI" in translation from the ancient Chinese means "teacher" or "teacher". Confucius had more students, but 26 of them were the most beloved. It was they who compiled a collection of sayings of their great teacher.
