Biography of Sophia Bowtun
So she is touching, as if she retells her story: “I hurry to you, I will be on the mountain, I will cry to cry ...” And people at the concerts of the choir not only cry, not only empathize with the heroes of songs, applaud, not sparing their hands, get up and shout “brave! But tell me, dear readers, when was the last time you sang Cossack songs? Do you often do it at all?
And in general - are you singing? And once in the Kuban Cossack families there was no day without a song. They accompanied a person’s life in work and on a festival, in joy and sadness. After all, the song is the soul of the people. And if you listen to the new concert program of the Kuban Cossack choir “Big Cossack History”, with which the illustrious team is now touring Russia, then, as on a fairy -tale carpet, an unusual picture will be woven.
Here are the historical events of different centuries, the military exploits of the Cossacks, the glorious gift of Empress Catherine, the works of the development of new lands. And with what colors are the song stories about love and fidelity, spiritual aspirations of the Cossacks! Famous hits and works that were performed for the first time. Even the flavor of the culture of the Adygov neighbors organically weaved into this canvas.
It seems that the artistic director of the choir Viktor Zakharchenko is no coincidence picked up such a program. After all, with these tour, he failed the line of his two creative anniversaries. Forty years ago, he headed the Kuban Cossack choir. That time was far from the best period of the life of a creative team. From the choir then they tried to make a pop musk-cold. And Viktor Gavrilovich managed not only to defend traditional folk art, but also to make the team one of the best choirs in Russia.
By the way, it was then that the song “Rosprogayte, lads, horse!” Sounded for the first time! And this year Viktor Zakharchenko turned 50 years old. After the end of the Novosibirsk Conservatory, the novice composer became the main chormaster of the Siberian Russian folk choir. Here he was engaged in great research work, recorded thousands of folk songs. According to Viktor Gavrilovich, these years prepared him for the main thing of his life - the revival of Kuban song traditions.
By the way, these days the Kuban choir sings just for the inhabitants of Siberian cities. But back to the already past performances. What do you think unites the audience of such different cities? Love for a folk song - the song that stores our historical and spiritual roots. Many picked up the melody and sang with the choir the loved words. The standing hall met the anthem of the Krasnodar Territory “You, Kuban, you are our homeland”, laughed from the scenes from “Vareanichki” and a dispute of Svistunov-rivals in the song “Dunya kept”, and the soloist Viktor Sorokin welcomed and did not want to let go of.
The songs “When we were in war” were clearly few to the audience. Even the "farm", full of Victor for the first time, did not save. At all concerts, a request was a request to fulfill “Spring will not come for me,” which was not listed in the program. As a result, Viktor Zakharchenko surrendered, offering the hall to compete with the choir in her performance. The people liked this proposal very much.
But the Kuban choir of the hall was not possible to peel the Kuban choir. The authors of the song “My Bitter Motherland”, the premiere of which took place on tour, presented the audience to the audience.
Composer Alexander Pakhmutov and poet Nikolai Dobronravov performed her along with the Kuban Cossack choir. To specially congratulate Viktor Zakharchenko on creative anniversaries from Crimea and the song and dance ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet. It was a response gesture to the solidarity of the Black Sea sailors to the Kuban choir for their support to the Crimeans on the disturbing February and March days, when Crimea returned to his native Russian harbor.
The Kuban Cossack choir everywhere invariably completed his performance "Farewell to the Slavs." And here the audience no longer restrained their emotions. The hall rose in St. Petersburg, and in Minsk, and in Moscow. Under the thunder of applause, along with the singers, everyone unanimously sang immortal lines: “We are all children of a great power, we all remember the covenants of the fathers.
For the sake of your homeland, honor and glory, do not regret yourself or enemies!
