Sergey Pasechnik:-I had to work as a watchman, a carpenter, and a driller, and a locksmith, a tractor driver, and a dial-fighter at Kamaz, VIA vocalist, an artist and a photographer, a businessman and a salesman, a bayanist on a ship, an electronic engineer. For eight years I have worked at OM KMPO factory by the head of the Bureau of Analysis and Planning, although my colleagues torn over me, calling him “Bureau of Tourism and Rest”, as I often had to go on business trips on the open spaces of the then immense USSR.
He sore many cities. By the time he decided to open his own business, already had a clear idea of how to organize trips. The difference was only in the degree of responsibility. If before that I did everything for myself and answered, accordingly, only for myself, now the responsibility has incredibly increased, moreover, the work became the only means of existence. By that time, I was already the father of two wonderful girls.
During the interview, held in a cafe, Sergey Pasechnik was constantly distracted. They greeted him every now and then, aware of how things were going on ... And by the end of the conversation, an interesting couple came up to us - customers who had just returned from vacation. At work, the director’s active nature could not sit in only one chair - the director’s chair.
The place of the critic, the advertiser and, in general, the “brain” of the company, she also took nature. Although now, of course, has already been slightly suppressed-after all, it is necessary to sometimes delight your presence in their place at the dining table ... But in fact, many successful advertising moves and ideas belong to Sergey Emilidovich. Once, for the first trip to France, to Paris, people had to persuade people to compose a group-Poland definitely preferred Paris.
And Paris showed people ... Today this route is the basis of branded French tours. And the idea to create not a bureau, not a company, not an agency, but a store is also a directorship thought. If it weren’t for work in Russia, then Sergey Pasechnik lived only where he could find a decent job. And he would have been looking for her everywhere, well, at least in Switzerland.
Although, it seems, he would be able to apply himself anywhere in the globe. And the point is not that a lot can, but that the main thing is able to want and do what he wants. Sergey Pasechnik:-Once it was very difficult for me to explain to my wife, why in the evening I often find myself not at home. Now that she herself tried this work and knows how much a pound of a dashing, there are no more problems.
In addition, she is my most reliable partner in which I am sure how in myself. In principle, I persuaded her to work with me only when the situation arose, that I needed a very reliable person. Family business - now you will not surprise anyone. But the Pasechnik family, as the head himself admitted, is far from this. And dad does not interfere with them. Another thing is that the spheres of their future activity seems to be still related to tourism in one way or another.
And this is their choice. How did such a busy dad manage to pay attention to the daughters? Of course, I cannot say that I devoted enough time to them. And I did not help them do lessons at school. This was done by my father -in -law and my father. I enjoyed going to my parent meetings, from a kindergarten, together with Sasha, a professional director helped in organizing and conducting all kinds of Christmas trees, evenings, graduation balls and tourist trips.
If possible, he took her daughters with him on trips. Starting from the early years, the eldest was seven, the youngest-four, every year, and sometimes more often, we went somewhere. Often with groups of tourists. I think that this enriched their worldview, stimulated interest and respect for foreign languages, and helped to make numerous acquaintances. Now they drive on their own, and sometimes help me, accompanying adult groups in serious programs.
What, in your opinion, is the current tourism market? What are the trends of its development? Competition and development process. That's what it is. And although everything seems good, nevertheless, small companies that do not always imagine what and how they do, cause great damage to our, Kazan tourist market. Because once you got burned, our potential client decides that a quality vacation can only be offered in Moscow.
And the next time he will go for a tour exactly there. Do you maintain relations with business colleagues? With colleagues in business, I communicate mainly on the day of tourism, at presentations and seminars.Of course, we are all competitors and say that business relationships are always smooth - to tell a lie. Personally, my relations with colleagues are quite smooth.
Almost no cultural or social event was complete without sponsorship support for your company. At the same time, you seem to avoid outright advertising ... The audience attending such events is our target audience. These are people demanding, tastefully. And in our case, just the desired effect is obtained. We do not annoy, and at the same time remember.
I hope that from the positive side. What are you doing with obviously "difficult" customers? A difficult client is the one who wants a large cake for a penny. It can be very difficult to explain that real quality and service cannot be free. In addition, those clients who, figuratively express themselves, say that they themselves are lifting into the “difficult” category, they themselves should have been slapping, they would only need a staircase ...
in a word, at their own peril and risk, they offer a travel company to send them for the cordon, and even further they themselves. From those here, who are “with a mustache”, then wait for trouble in the form of foreign panic calls that, they say, they were deceived. To date, the company has its own code from which it does not retreat - who does not like it - leave themselves.
However, the experience and trust of customers does not allow you to work like. Only for sure. Who is your client today? Today's customer of the store is a person who knows his price for whom the quality of rest is of paramount importance, and he is ready to pay quality for this. Although I am especially pleased that among them there are my fellow countrymen from Zelenodolsk, the people with whom I was friends and worked, and, mostly pleasant, are my former teachers from KAI.
What, in your opinion, does a Russian tourist look like abroad? There is such a saying: "In Rome, do as the Romans." There is a certain category of customers who do not want to perceive the culture and traditions of the country where they go, not in speak, but have sufficient means. They believe that since they have money, then everything around them should spin.
Sometimes they differ in addiction and alcohol.
For example, when the group flew to Japan, the two got drunk so that the entire group at the transplant point was detained until these two sober up, and on the way back the whole group was put on a strict alcohol diet - they simply were not offered alcohol. Although this is an extreme, of course. And in some countries, the addiction to alcohol is almost legalized, but on strictly defined days.
For example, from Friday to Saturday - in Finland, and in Germany in two weeks of Octoberfest, beer is drunk not only by the inhabitants of Munich. I never hid that I am from Russia, and each time I explain that Kazan is not Kazakhstan, but Tatarstan. But I rarely take me for Russian the first time. In Bulgaria, for example, so “Bulgarian” remained. My grandmother is from the Volga Germans, it can be seen - genes.
But our tourist can be recognized not only by addiction to drinking - this is only one side of the problem. There is still one. Our tourists do not have a clock culture, so to speak. Abroad, especially in Europe and America, tips are mentality. It seems - a trifle. In fact, it is very important. If you want your number to be removed every day so that a chocolate is to be lying on the pillow, and your towel is laid in the shape of a swan, and you want all this to continue throughout the vacation - leave the tips.
If you allow the driver or “boy” to grab and drag your suitcase in the form, prepare a trifle. What vacation do you prefer? I love skiing, windsurfing. I like to know new countries and cities driving a car. Are you a gourmet? Often being in different countries, one cannot but become. The country's picture consists of everything: streets, people, cafes, and, finally, the kitchen.
Somewhere it gives sharpness, somewhere softens the corners. Through the stomach lies the path not only to the heart of a man, but also to the "heart" of a new country. On what holidays did you have to visit abroad and what did you remember?
