Paolo Jenoveze Biography

Paolo Jenoveze is a talented director, screenwriter and writer a real talent is never completely satisfied if he has something to tell and what to share with the world. Love for cinema and writing gave him great satisfaction, to which he always strove. A talented director, screenwriter and writer - Paolo Jenoveza knows how to interest the audience that monitors his work.

After the defense of the diploma in economics and commerce, he worked in the field of advertising, where he was engaged in creative work, which brought him many successful reviews and awards. But real talent is never completely satisfied if he has something to tell and what to share with the world. Dopo La Laurea in Economia E Commercio Ha Lavorato in Pubblicitario Svolgendo Un Lavoro Creativo Che Portato Ave -Soddisfazioni E Molta Permi.

Ma Il Vero Talento Non Si Accontenta Mai Se Ha Qualcosa Da Raccontare E Condivide Con Il Mondo. Therefore, I said to myself: this idea of describing relationships between people as they change can be transmitted through a mobile phone, and thus the film “Perfect Strangers” was born. In your many films, you show a reality mixed with irony, which excites, helps us look into the heart of a person.

How are ideas for your films are born, as, for example, in the case of the comedy “ideal strangers”, which has numerous remakes in many countries of the world? My ideas arise from observation of reality. I like to tell the surrounding world, capture its aspects and find a point of view with which you can describe it. There is no idea or an exact starting point.

There are sentences, emotions that settle and enter us. From time to time I write notes, present objects, find interesting situations, stories and collect them. Then comes the moment when I decide to tell all this. As for my film “Perfect Strangers”, the idea was born for a long time. I wanted to tell how little we know each other how few people, especially relatives, friends, do not know each other deep.

I was waiting. Because the idea should have been born to tell this story. And this idea arose from observing reality, observing how more in these years than in any other historical period, one object, that is, a telephone and technology, our life and our relationship deeply changed. Looking back in the era of silent cinema, we can say that modern cinema is the quintessence of technological evolution.

Today we can use a camera built into a mobile phone to take unusual pictures. What is the power of modern cinema and what awaits it in the future? Of course, giant steps have been taken from the era of silent cinema to this day: today the film can be made even with the help of a mobile phone, and you no longer need this incredible set of mechanisms and lamps of the past.

Technologies are different, drones, incredible special effects appeared: all tools that change the potential and possibilities of creating a movie. But I think that stories remain and always remain at the base. If you have a good story, a mobile phone may be enough to tell it. But if you do not have an important story, all special effects in the world are not enough to make a good film.

Therefore, I think that in the future of the movie it will be more and more about national stories of individual countries, because we all are curious to recognize each other, but this story should be written in the international language that will be understood by everyone. The success of “perfect strangers”, for example, I think, is due to the fact that this is an Italian story written in a universal language, understandable to everyone.

This is exactly what happened with the film “Parasite”, which received four Oscars and was a unique case when he spoke specifically Korean history, about a special culture written in the international language and, therefore, understandable to everyone. In my opinion, the future of the movie is the internationalization of local stories. Mi Piace Raccontare Il Mondo Che Circonda, Coglierne Un Aspetto E Trovare Un Punto Di Vista Attraverso Il Quale Descriverlo.

CI SONO DELLE SUGGESTIONI, DELLE EMOZONI CHE SI Depositano ed Entrano dentro di Noi. Ogni Tanto Scrivo Appunti, Immagino Dei Soggetti, Trovo Delle Situazioni, Dei Racconti Interessanti E Li Raccolgo. Poi Arriva Un Momento in Cui Decido di Raccontare Tutto Questo. Mi Sarebbe Piaciuto Raccontare Quanto Poco Ci Conosciamo, Quanto Poco Le Persone, Soprattto Parenti, Amici Non Si Conoscono Profondamente.

Ho Aspettato. Oggi Possiamo Utilizzare La Telecamera Incorporata in Un Telefonino Riprendendo Delle Straordinarie Immagini. Ma se non -hai una storia importante non -bastano tutti Gli Effetti Speciali del Mondo per Farla Diventare Un Buon Film. Cinema helps people think about love, embody dreams into reality and seek themselves. How difficult is it to shoot films for a thinking public today?

How demanding is the Italian public itself?Yes, I agree with you that the movie helps to think. I think that the difficulty is to make a movie that will leave some trace in the minds of people after the film is completed. This is not easy, because we should not only encounter the original theme, but also do it so that something remains inside, and therefore our comparison is always as follows: what point of view to give stories to encourage people to think at what angle to serve in order to find new food for thought.

In the end, this is the duty of the artist and intellectual. Writing a book helps to free our thoughts, transform our imagination and create new reality and recently your new book “Superheroes” has published. Most of all do you prefer to make a movie or write a book? I must say that making a film or writing a book are different things. This year, the fourth book “Superheroes” was published, and, fortunately, they have always been successful books.

It is difficult for me to say what I prefer, because these are two different ways to be able to express myself. I like to tell stories, trying in different ways to try my hand. Cinema is a story in images, a novel is a story in words that use completely different tools, and everyone has their own difficulties. Of course, writing a novel is not easy, perhaps it is more difficult for me than making a film, because in the film you are helped by music, images, expressions of actors, their game and many instruments for transmitting emotions, while in the novel you have only words.

With the help of words, you must make music what you have heard, you must make the expressions of the main characters, you must feel the aroma of this story. You have only one tool - they are beautiful, but they need to be well told. Obviously, the beauty of the letter is that it gives you complete freedom, you can write anywhere, you can lock yourself in your room, in the office alone and pull out the finished work.

In the cinema, however, many people need, a much more complex productive and creative mechanism. The American film industry is considered one of the best in the world. What do you think of the movies of other countries and, in particular, about Russian cinema? Would you like to make a film with the participation of Russian actors? Russian cinema is very interesting.

I must say that I participated in many festivals and I was lucky enough to see many Russian films of the last period; In particular, I really liked the film directed by Balabanov “Brother”, and this made a great impression on me. Another film by Andrei Zvyagintsev “Dislike” is truly delightful poetry, tenderness and introspection. But I must say that the problem of Russian cinema is the same as that of Italian: it is not shown in other countries.

Few Russian films come to Italy, and, in my opinion, Russian cinema could have its own niche; For example, “dislike” is an absolutely international, transverse film that could really like the Italian public. For the sake of God, he was shown, but he had no proper advance and a push. This situation is a little similar to Italian cinema, as with some Greek films that are very good, and some Spanish films that do not reach us.

I must say that only a few European countries have the opportunity to promote their films outside their territory: the French - I shoot a hat in front of them - they promote their cinema well, and then, obviously, British, who have an advantage of the language. As for the creation of a film with the participation of Russian actors, Russia is certainly a very interesting country. I think that everyone should show their own world in order to create a story in which both cultures are in one way or another in contact.

Servono I Super Poteri Per Amarsi Tutta vita. "Devo Dire Che Girare Un Film O Scrive Un Libro Due Cose Molto Diffferenti. Servono I Supersi Per Amarsi Tuttta Tuttta Una vita "E Fortunatamente Sono Sempre Stati Libri Di Successo. Attraverso le Parole Devi Far Sentire La Musica, Devi Far Percepire Le Espressioni Dei Protagonisti, Devi Far Sentire Il Sapore di Queel Storia. Hai Un Unico Mezzo - Le Parole - Che Sono Miravigliose, Ma Devono Essere Ben Raccontate.

Cosa Ne Pensa Lei Del Cinema Degli Altri Paesi Ed in Particolare del Cinema Russo? Le Piacerebbe Fare un Film Con Cast di Attori Russia? Io Penso Che Ognuno Debba Portare Il Proprio Mondo E Quindi Creare UNA Storia Dove Ambedue Le Culture in Qualche Modo Entrano in Contatto. Italian cinema gave the world many masterpieces, which we remember today. In your opinion, what exactly is the Italian cinema is missing?

What would you change in the content of the films that we watch? I believe that Italian cinema has remained an relevant cinema that can tell. What has happened in recent years is that our cinema is very little exported.Such a film as “ideal strangers” became a worldwide case, but unfortunately, a rather isolated case in Italian cinema, because it is a story that is put forward on its own and for the object that it affects.

Italian films that are exported become important films if they manage to win prizes in Cannes, Berlin or get an Oscar. However, the permanent, systemic export of Italian cinema, unfortunately, has not occurred in recent years. And for me this is a great regret, because traveling around the world with my films, I am one of the few lucky ones who manage to go out and export films around the world.

But I see that Italian cinema likes, and it could be shown in other countries. To train others is a process that fascinates many directors and actors. Would you like to teach a movie? What would you say to today's young people so that their dreams come true? Teaching is a very important part of my life. I continue to teach young people directing, acting and scenario skills. It is important not only what I can teach young people, but also what they can teach me.

This is the time to exchange experience. I do not think that there are old or new schools, in my opinion, each project is caused by the exchange of ideas of different schools.
